Electronic Data Interface (EDI)

One client had several requests from its major customers for electronic invoice files which could be imported into their computer system.  The client spent hours working out how to achieve this and even more hours creating the file for them each month.

Wakelin Solutionz designed applications for the client using Excel, that do all of the hard work.

1. Customer's invoices are automatically extracted from the clients computer

2. Excel manipulates the data automatically so it is in the correct format for the customer

3. The file is transmitted via email, CD-Rom or floppy disk

4. The customer processes the file through its own business systems

5. Payment is received for the full month's invoices, with no problems to worry about with missing invoices, incorrect keying etc.
